Smosh Gets “Submissive and Breedable”

Co-founded by Hecox and Padilla in 2005, Smosh quickly captivated audiences worldwide with their sketch comedy and unique brand of humor, becoming the most followed channel on YouTube and has since amassed over 75 million followers across platforms. After a six-year hiatus, Padilla returned to the company in 2023, in a historic multi-million-dollar deal with Rhett and Link’s Mythical Entertainment, announcing Padilla and Hecox as majority owners of the company they co-founded as teenagers.
While Smosh has continued making music with viral songs such as “Girls Are Gross” and “I’m Really Not Sorry”, “Submissive and Breedable” marks Smosh’s first original single since their historic reunion in 2023, which found the duo reuniting as majority owners of Smosh, the multi-million dollar company they co-founded in 2005.
“The idea for S&B all started as an inside joke,” said Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox, about the new single. “We already knew we wanted to step back into making music, so once we got the idea, the stars truly aligned from there – especially once bbno$ and Y2K came aboard. We’re incredibly grateful to be working with such talented artists, and to continue delivering our fans the comedy we love in even more creative ways.”
Since their announcement, Padilla and Hecox alongside CEO, Ale Catanese have reinvigorated the company, producing brand new sketches like “Food Battle 2023” as well as a full length comedy roast, “Anthony Padilla is Dead”, revitalizing beloved series, such as “Try Not To Laugh”, and “You Posted That” and introducing new formats, including “Culinary Crimes” and “Flashback With Smosh”.
